About the Society 

The Walkersville Historical Society was formed in 2012, as a  non-profit organization operated by volunteers. Please consider being part of the society. 

Mission Statement
Organize a diverse group of individuals to meet the mission of forming a historical society, to collect and archive documents, artifacts, and original pieces that reflect the history of the people who shaped the Walkersville community and educate the public about the history of Walkersville.

Monthly Society Meetings 
The society meets from September through June, from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, at the Walkersville Public Library, 2 S. Glade Road, Walkersville, Maryland. The meeting is open to the public. Please consider attending a meeting.
